The Duchess of Sussex is rumoured to be ready to develop new projects after her ‘Archetypes’ podcast was axed by Spotify executives after just one season

Meghan Markle is planning a major Hollywood comeback after months of silence because she “likes being famous”, a source has claimed.

Despite the Duchess of Sussex avoiding the spotlight amid a “brutal” last few months for her husband Prince Harry, the former ‘Suits’ actress has been tipped to return to Hollywood.

The move comes after the couple agreed to mutually terminate their multi-million dollar contract with Spotify which saw the Duchess produce just one 12-episode series for the music-streaming giant.

The termination also came with a devastating remark from one the company’s top executives, Bill Simmons, who labelled the couple as a pair of “f*****g grifters”.

United Talent Agency CEO Jeremy Zimmer, added to the backlash adding: “Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent.”

However, according to a source who has “knowledge from their time with Spotify”, Meghan is ready to throw herself into a new project but Harry has other ideas.

“Harry has made it clear that he never wanted to be in the media…he would be very happy to go away”, a source told Page Six.

“I think he’d like to go and live in Botswana – as long as he had money.

“Meghan actually likes being famous.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s potential return to Hollywood seems reinforced by the growth of her yet-to-be-launched Instagram account @meghan which has amassed some 76,000 followers.

She has also been spotted several times in the last few weeks, visiting a farmer’s market in Montecito, watching Barbie with her friends and attending a Taylor Swift concert.

However, an insider familiar with the Sussexes suggested the Duchess isn’t actively seeking to be photographed when out in public and that cameras can’t and won’t stop the couple from living their lives.

“Meghan’s not seeking out opportunities to be photographed, but she’s realized she has to live her life, none of the cameras are going away,” the source told Page Six.

News of the Duchess’s Hollywood moves comes as her husband Prince Harry is tipped to have “peace talks” with his father King Charles.

“King Charles is due to return to London from Balmoral in the middle of September, which ties in with the end of Harry’s Invictus Games trip to Dusseldorf,” a source told OK! Magazine.

“The King has a rescheduled official visit to France on 20 September, so [he] has a few days to spare in London to meet with his son.

“Staff are trying to fine-tune the details as we speak.”
